HALF DAY JEEP TOUR
The 4 hours jeep tour gives you the opportunity to explore the most famous sites of the beautiful Wadi Rum desert. We will use our jeep with open back to drive you to the Khazali Canyon and its ancient inscriptions, the Red Sand Dune with amazing views over the desert, Lawrence Spring, Abu Khashaba Canyon, the Small Arch and Um Fruth rock bridge, which both offer amazing photo opportunities. We will drop you off at the start of Abu Khashaba canyon, through which you can hike all the way to the end (30-45min), where we will pick you up again. For the best sunset view we will drive to Um Sabatah, where we will watch sunset and enjoy Bedouin tea around a small campfire. At all locations there is time to wander around, explore, scramble, ask questions to our local Bedouin guide and take beautiful photos.

Itinerary of half day Jeep tour
Tour start
If you're arriving from another place in Jordan, we will meet you at the parking lot of Wadi Rum Village. Here you can hop on our 4x4 Jeep and store your bags inside the car. If you already spent the night in our camp or in the cave, the tour will start from there. It is also possible to start your tour with a camel ride of 30 minutes or 1 hour.
Stops on the tour
During our Jeep tour we will stop at different important and famous places in Wadi Rum, like Khazali Canyon, Lawrence Spring, the Red Sand Dune, the Small Arch and Um Fruth Bridge. At all these places we will stop the car and have time to explore the sites, climb on the rocks and take some nice photos. At some places we can have a sit and drink some Bedouin tea. Later we will drive you to Abu Khashaba canyon, through which you can walk all the way to the other side in 30 minutes, where we will pick you up again. If you are up for it we will have some time to try sandboarding from one of the big sand dunes.
End of the tour
If you started the tour in the afternoon we will go to Um Sabatah to watch the amazing view during sunset. Your guide will prepare a campfire and some Bedouin tea, to enjoy during the sunset. From here will will drive you back to our camp, the cave or Wadi Rum Village.

Meeting place of the tour is the parking lot of Wadi Rum Village or the camp.
The starting time in morning 10am and afternoon 2pm (winter) and 3pm (summer)

Tour extensions
The half day jeep tour is perfect in combination with an overnight stay in the desert. You can choose to have the overnight stay before or after your tour.
You can extend your jeep tour with a 30 minutes or 1 hour camel ride.

- the entrance fee for Wadi Rum Protected Area (paid at Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, 5JD per person or free with the Jordan Pass)
